Where is it?  In the very centre of Bath on the famous shopping street, Milcom Street.

How did it all begin?  Once upon a time a beautiful baby girl called India Rose was born and as a thank you from her mummy for helping to look after her, she surprised me with a one day course at the Jane Packer Flower School. I was bitten by the bug and returned to Jane Packer to complete the four week career course. A short while after I decided to leave London and move to Bath where I found the perfect little spot to open a flower shop and school!

So what happened next? The flower school flourished and we enjoyed busy wedding seasons with lots of lovely features in the glossy magazines! Our lovely regular customers kept us busy, so busy in fact that we decided after a few years to close the door to the shop and concentrate entirely on the flower school. This finally gave us the opportunity to develop the best possible career course of our very own. That brings us right up to date and although we believe that we have the best four week career course we don't sit on our laurels but continually strive to improve the course content.

What makes your career course the best? Our course is designed for those wanting to enter into the world of floristry. For that reason we not only give our students the technical skills they require, but the business skills too. We invite industry experts into the school to offer their valuable advice to our students too. Along with our unique teaching skills and the continued support we offer our students on completion of the course, we believe it all goes to make the best four week career course.

Do you have a favourite flower?  I always have a favourite it just changes with each season... today it's the Ranunculus!

Do you ever get bored of working with flowers? No never! Everyone who works at the school is still excited by flowers each and every day. Although our days are filled with teaching we still enjoy working on events too. Follow us on facebook to see our 'extra curricular' activities.

And finally, who's your four legged friend? That's Lemmy, a miniature  Dachshund. Lemmy can always be found at the school munching on a leaf or two, oh and he's quite partial to the odd Danish pastry too!

I love my school

What goes on there?  Many beautiful things! Our (that's me and our small team) four week career course runs throughout the year offering a safe and supportive environment for our students to learn. Our students leave with the confidence they need to launch their own business and of course all the hands-on practical floristry skills they need too.
